HLTA |
We are seeking to employ an HTLA to work within our busy Inclusion and Diversity department. The post holder will work with students predominantly in Year 7 who are struggling to make expected progress and present as vulnerable in a large, mainstream school. The role of the HLTA is to support the transition teacher to deliver a curriculum that will ensure students are ready to take a full and active part in life in mainstream classrooms within The Kingsway School. This may involve delivering learning activities for individuals groups/whole classes of students under an agreed system of supervision. The successful candidate will be organised and self-motivated, have a high level of accuracy and proficient IT skills. They will enjoy working in a team and be able to form strong relationships with team members and students. |

Medical Needs and Admin Officer |
The Kingsway School, part of the Education Learning Trust, are seeking to employ a Medical Needs and Administration Officer to work 37 hours per week within our busy Administration department. This role is term time plus 2 weeks (including 5 inset days). We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Needs and Administration Officer to join our friendly, supportive, and outward looking team of teachers and support staff. The role of the Medical Needs and Administration Officer will provide an efficient and effective administration support service to the school and be the lead practitioner for the school’s medical needs and first aid requirements, ensuring that all policies are maintained, and government guidelines are followed. This will include information gathering, collating medical information, producing student reports for trips, along with managing the medical room. |
