Current COVID-19 guidance for The Kingsway School
- Students should not attend school if a member of the household has COVID-19. This is different to the national guidance, but has been put into place to help reduce our current levels of COVID-19 in school.

- Students must wear masks in the corridors and communal areas.
- Please support us in our efforts to reduce the level of COVID-19 in our school community.

We will inform you when this requirement is relaxed.

To report all suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 for students or members of the same household, please email

In your email please include the following:

- Name of student
- Name of person with COVID symptoms
- Date symptoms began
- Date student last in school
- Date of test or confirmation that test is being arranged

If applicable:

- Test result (positive OR negative)
- Date of test result
- Include screenshot of test result

Due to our current high rates of COVID-19 the advice from Stockport Public Health specifically for Kingsway School is that:

- Face coverings should be worn in communal areas of school, e.g. corridors.
- Kingsway students should remain at home whilst waiting for the results of a PCR test, and not attend school.
- If someone is symptomatic in a household, then Kingsway children should remain at home and book a PCR test.

This advice is a "step up" from the national guidance due to an outbreak of COVID-19 in school.
