Friday, 08:00 - 15:30, term-time only (39 weeks per year)
Total hours per week: 37
Duration: 15 months

The Kingsway School is seeking to appoint a proactive, organised individual with a keen interest to learn as an Apprentice School Administrator. More information and to apply please visit the Find an apprenticeship GOV.UK website.

Duties to include:

  • Receive visitors to the school and to communicate with courtesy and clarity to all staff, pupils, parents, carers, visitors, outside agencies and the wider community, including answering general telephone and face to face enquiries
  • Clerical and administrative support duties on behalf of individual members of staff and Departments
  • Maintain and update administrative systems (training given)
  • Provide cover for other administrative colleagues when required
  • Organise meetings including booking rooms and refreshments, inviting attendees, photocopying of papers and taking minutes
  • Undertake administrative duties as required including photocopying, filing, typing, updating databases and ordering stationary
