Lab Technician

Salary
NJC Scale 3 - £13,760 to £14,572 (approx actual salary for hours and weeks worked)

Contract
35 hours per week, term time only, plus one week

The Kingsway School is looking for an experienced Science Technician who can cover Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE level, working as part of a team in the Science Department.

Your duties will include preparation of solutions, maintaining glassware in classrooms, preparing practicals prior to lessons and delivering to classrooms, trialling and setting up experiments, general upkeep of the science technician laboratory, Science exam and coursework filing and record-keeping, and, occasionally, helping pupils during lessons.

Resourced School Integrated Assistant

Salary
NJC Scale 4 (actual pro rata salary for hours and weeks worked £7,927 to £8,835)

Contract
19 hours 15 mins per week, term time only (temporary until 31/8/18 but this role may be extended to permanent dependent upon pupil need)

We require as soon as possible a motivated individual, experienced in working with children with special needs, to join our friendly special education needs support team. The applicant will work with Secondary School students with a range of severe and complex learning needs. This is a challenging and varied role and an exciting opportunity for a highly driven person. The post starts as soon as possible subject to safeguarding requirements. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels is essential.
